Viera Hawks Square Off Against Martin County Tonight at 7 P.M. in Game 1 of Regional Semifinals

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Viera (20-10) and Martin County (20-8) will face off in a best-of-three series with a spot in the Regional Final on the line.
The Viera Hawks have won four of their last five games and eliminated the defending state champions, Dwyer, in three games to keep their season alive.
Viera will host Martin County over the next two nights as they aim to extend their postseason run. The Hawks reached the Final Four last year, where they were defeated by Dwyer, and are looking to make a return this season.
Senior Dominic Leoni was a standout in the previous series, going 7-for-10 with several RBIs. Junior Aiden Cameron and sophomore Brady Jensen also played key roles in the series win over Dwyer.
Martin County advanced to the Regional Semifinals after defeating Durant High School in two games (3-2, 9-4). The Tigers have won nine of their last ten and are playing their best baseball of the season.
Senior Dalton French and junior Zane Moody are key players to watch as Martin County looks to continue its successful run to the Regional Final.
