The City of Melbourne has issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers in the W. Eau Gallie Boulevard area following a planned water shutoff to repair a hydrant.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne has issued a precautionary boil water notice for customers in the W. Eau Gallie Boulevard area following a planned water shutoff to repair a hydrant.

The affected addresses include:
• W. Eau Gallie Boulevard (ML) – 2800
• Breeze Lane (ML) – 1347–1535
• N. Breeze Road (ML) – 2750–2816
• Breeze Ridge Road (ML) – 2767–2810
• S. Breeze Road (ML) – 2767–2827
• Sea Breeze Lane (ML) – 1446–1530

Once water service is restored, residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. A rolling boil of at least one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may be used as an alternative during this time.
