Member calls the Titusville session “awesome” as seniors stay active together.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Health First Health Plans closed out its 2025 slate of Medicare Advantage member events with a high-energy “Movement Class” at the Titusville Civic Center, bringing together seniors from across Brevard County for fitness, fun and friendship.
The final event of the year was led by Robyn Russell, Concierge Specialist at Health First Health Plans.
For Russell, who has been with Health First for more than 20 years, it wasn’t about how fast or how perfectly anyone could move — it was about the importance of moving.
The focus of the Titusville session was to show that every stretch, lift and twist adds up to better health and energy.
Chair exercises are especially beneficial for older adults seeking a safe way to build strength and stamina. The session blended light cardio and stretching with upbeat encouragement, showing that age or physical limitations don’t have to be barriers to staying active.
Among those who joined was Palm Bay resident Rudolph Lewis, who has now attended two Medicare member events this year.
“Today’s member event was awesome,” Lewis said. “They kept me going through the class.”
Lewis previously participated in the “Walk It Out” program at ProHealth & Fitness in Viera, where he said the experience sparked new motivation.
“I went by myself but met others there, and the event inspired me,” Lewis said.
Another attendee drove from Rockledge to Titusville to take part in the final class of the year, highlighting how valuable the programs are to members who want to remain active and engaged.
Health First Health Plans has made its Medicare Advantage member events about more than physical health. They are opportunities for members to connect, socialize and support one another while learning new ways to live well.
These events are free and offered exclusively to Health First Health Plans Medicare members. Organizers said the 2025 activities were a success and planning is already underway for the 2026 schedule.
The 2025 calendar featured a variety of activities across Brevard County, ranging from walking groups and movie outings to group exercise sessions. Each was tailored to help members not only stay active but also feel supported and connected.

Launched in 1996, Health First Health Plans has spent nearly three decades serving Central Florida with high-value, low-cost coverage.
Today, it provides access to more than 5,600 providers and dozens of acute care and office-based medical services across the region.
Health First Health Plans provides more than health insurance coverage. Events like the Titusville “Movement Class” give members resources that go beyond doctor visits, blending fitness with friendship and support.
With the Titusville Civic Center class bringing the year’s schedule to a close, attention now turns to 2026. Medicare open enrollment runs Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. Details about the 2026 Advantage Member events are expected later in December.
For every senior who joined the 2025 programs, the events offered more than exercise — they provided encouragement, laughter and new friendships. For members like Lewis, they provided inspiration.
“Today’s member event was awesome,” Lewis said, smiling after the class.
