Tennis Legend Ivan Lendl to Appear at Grand Opening of Dill Dinkers in Satellite Beach

Set for October 28 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Satellite Beach will welcome tennis icon Ivan Lendl, eight-time Grand Slam champion and former World No. 1, for the grand opening of Dill Dinkers’ newest facility on Tuesday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Dill Dinkers Pickleball is at 1071 S. Patrick Drive.

The full-day event brings together world-class tennis talent, local organizations, and community spirit for an unforgettable launch.

Eight-time Grand Slam champion Lendl will compete in an exhibition match alongside fellow pros Mikael Pernfors, Martina Kochli, and Bobbi Oshiro.

The event reunites Lendl and Pernfors—rivals from the 1986 French Open final—for a showcase that blends elite-level play with camaraderie and fun.

Guests can enjoy free play and activities all day, a vendor fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a grand opening program at 4 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting and photo opportunities at 4:45 p.m.

Professional pickleball sessions and raffles will also be available, with proceeds supporting the Brevard Zoo’s Bowen Aquarium and Special Olympics Florida.

The celebration highlights Dill Dinkers’ commitment to community growth through initiatives like Brevard’s first youth pickleball team, a Pickleball Ball Recycling Program, and a shoe drive collecting gently used or new athletic footwear.

Throughout October, participants can also enter weekly contests, including Pickleball Why, Nominate a Local Hero, Share Your Best Trick Shot, and Pickle-up My Swag, for a chance to win prizes.
