Police Arrest Five in Violent Melbourne City Hall Parking Garage Robbery

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Five suspects have been arrested in connection with a violent robbery that took place inside the Melbourne City Hall Parking Garage on the night of November 30, 2024.
The arrests follow a months-long investigation by the Melbourne Police Department after videos of the attack surfaced on social media.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
■ Jayvon Jordan, 19 – Charged with robbery with a firearm, unlawful carry of a concealed firearm, assault with intent to commit a felony, and carrying a concealed weapon.
■ Taryus Jordan, 22 – Charged with robbery (no firearm or weapon) and battery – touch or strike.
■ Bryce Delgatto, 19 – Charged with robbery with a weapon.
■ Shaun Curran, 18 – Charged with robbery with a weapon.
■ Juvenile Male (Name Withheld) – Charged with robbery with a firearm and open carry of an electronic weapon.
According to Melbourne Police Sgt. Sheridan Shelley, the victim, was confronted inside the garage by an armed suspect before being attacked by multiple individuals.
The assailants punched, kicked, and shocked the victim with a handheld stun gun, forcibly taking his wallet and necklace. The brutal assault was recorded by several bystanders, with footage later circulating online.
Officer Whiteside, assigned to the case, identified five suspects involved in the robbery and arrested them with the help of the department’s Criminal Intelligence Unit. Two additional suspects remain under investigation, and charges are pending.
