OBITUARY: Paul Noel LaMothe, 95, of Indian Harbour Beach Passed Away Peacefully Sept. 21

Paul Noel LaMothe, 95, of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, passed peacefully, on September 21, surrounded by family and friends. Paul served in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Korean War, and after retiring, he relocated to Indian Harbour Beach, where he was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Noel LaMothe, of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, passed peacefully, on September 21, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on December 25, 1928, to Alphonse and Cecile Lamothe, in Bristol CT.

Paul served in the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Korean War, then was employed by Superior Electric, in Bristol CT, for 36 years.

After retiring, he relocated to Indian Harbour Beach, where he was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Church, serving as an usher for many years and was active in the Bereavement Ministry. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and served on the Honor Guard.

He was predeceased by: his parents; his brothers Rene and Maurice; his sister Theresa; and his wives Josephine, Doreen, and Sarah (Sally).

He was survived by: his sister, Alice Leger of Bristol CT; his children, Deborah McDoniel (Robert) of Flippin AR and Michael LaMothe (Lynn) of Haydenville MA; his stepchildren, Paul Plourde (Nancy) of Downing Town PA, Janet Gates (Kevin) of Waller TX, Ella Gagnon (Bill) of Merrimack NH, Elizabeth Courtney of Indian Harbour Beach FL, Amy Cofield of Genoa City WI, and John Cofield (Christi) of Tallahassee FL.

He leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.

A Memorial Gathering will be held locally at Zon Beachside Assisted Living Facility, Indian Harbour Beach, on September 30th, 2:30-4:00 p.m. Interment and graveside service will be held at a later date, in Bristol CT.
