BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The 40th Annual Space Coast State Fair kicked off in grand fashion Saturday morning, treating more than 1,300 Kennedy Space Center team members, their family members and friends from COMET of Amentum to an exclusive, high-energy experience at Space Coast Daily Park.

Following that great start to the day, the Space Coast State Fair set a record for single-day attendance since it began in 1985, thanks to perfect weather and an outstanding lineup of entertainment and shows.

“The 40th Annual Space Coast State Fair welcomed members of COMET, which is gearing up to send the first people back to the moon since the Apollo program more than 50 years ago,” said Fair General Manager Scott Joseph.

“COMET had the fairgrounds all to themselves this morning, but at 1 p.m., the fair opens to the public and goes all the way through midnight tonight,” Joseph added.

Known as Brevard County’s most popular family event, the Space Coast State Fair will be open daily through November 16 at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera. The fair features an impressive lineup of entertainment, shows, and attractions — all included with gate admission.

2025 Space Coast State Fair Features Family Fun and Free Shows All Day and Night!

Guests can enjoy an unlimited-rides armband every day and night — $25 Monday through Thursday and $30 Friday through Sunday — which includes all rides and shows from open to close. Individual ride tickets are also available.

Admission is free for children under 36 inches tall, veterans, and seniors aged 65 and over.

A Celebration of Community and Culture

The fair has long been a celebration of Space Coast community spirit, drawing thousands of visitors each year for 18 days of entertainment, food, and fun.

One of the most anticipated attractions this year is Lucha Libre Wrestling, presented live every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Originating in Mexico, lucha libre is known for its colorful masks, aerial stunts, and theatrical storytelling — with fans cheering on the heroic técnicos and jeering the villainous rudos.

All shows are included free with fair admission.

Lucha libre is a form of professional wrestling that originated in Mexico and is characterized by masked wrestlers, aerial maneuvers, and a theatrical presentation that blends heroic and villainous characters in dramatic matches.

Spectators actively participate by cheering for the heroic técnicos and booing the villainous rudos. A key element of its tradition is the mask, which represents the luchador’s identity; losing one in a match is considered a severe and career-ending embarrassment.
