Brevard Humane Society to Begin Major Renovation of Cocoa Adoption Center, Ground Breaking Set Oct. 24

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society will host a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of a $2.5 million renovation project at its Cocoa Adoption Center.

The event will take place on Friday, October 24, at 10 a.m. at 1020 Cox Road in Cocoa.

The long-anticipated renovation will expand the facility and increase its capacity to care for homeless pets.

The project is designed to create a healthier, more modern environment that supports the well-being of the animals and enhances the organization’s ability to serve the community.

Local leaders, supporters, and animal advocates are expected to attend the ceremony, marking a major milestone for the Humane Society.

The organization credits the generosity and dedication of the community for making the project possible and looks forward to celebrating this significant step forward for animal care in Brevard County.

The Brevard Humane Society provides animal welfare shelters and programs that foster a humane ethic towards all animals.
