Space Coast Office of Tourism Scores Flagler Awards During Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism

won top awards in tourism marketing at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Office of Tourism and their ad agency, &Barr, won the top awards in tourism marketing at the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism recently held at The Tampa Convention Center.
The Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism is one of VISIT FLORIDA’s annual signature events that brings more than 1,000 attendees together to learn more about the industry and network with tourism colleagues.
The Flagler Awards are based on excellence in creative, as well as performance results and are determined by independent judges.
The Space Coast Office of Tourism was awarded Best Television Commercial for their Countdown Commercial. Then, the announcement was made they won a Bronze Award for Radio Commercial.
Then the award for Best Mixed Media Campaign was announced, and and the Space Coast Office of Tourism won the “Henry” which is the highest award given.
The Space Coast Office of Tourism then won its third “Henry” as the Best of Show for Marketing Budgets over $2 million for the Countdown Campaign.
Peter Cranis, Space Coast Office of Tourism Executive Director, and Laura Beebe, Marketing Director, were in attendance to accept the awards, along with several representatives from advertising agency, &Barr.
“These awards are truly significant in the world of tourism marketing as all the destinations in the state of Florida compete for them, so the Space Coast beat out many bigger destinations such as Orlando, Miami, and Tampa,” said Cranis. “Congratulations again to all involved in our marketing campaign.”
