It all began with a 21-year-old minor league baseball player who picked up restaurant jobs during the off-season. When his baseball career ended, his focus shifted full-time to the culinary world.

Over the years, he worked alongside top-tier chefs, including one with a Michelin star. A transformative summer in 1993, spent traveling the Northeast from Connecticut to Maine, introduced him to some of the best lobster rolls imaginable.

In February 2020, the dream became a reality in Ship Bottom, New Jersey — the first location of Mystic Lobster Roll Company. The response was immediate and enthusiastic, sparking rapid expansion to four locations in a short time.
