Brevard Sheriff’s Office Postpones K9 Saint Francis Kids Day at Viera High Due to Inclement Weather, Rescheduled for October 11

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Officer Saint is inviting all Brevard County kids to the first-ever K-9 Saint Francis’ Kids Day, a full day of family fun and, of course, great food, in celebration of Saint Francis’ Feast Day – the Patron Saint of Animals – on Saturday, October 11.
The event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Viera High School, will feature amazing dogs available for adoption.
The event will feature a Touch-A-Truck area, all sorts of police cars and fire trucks, bounce houses, free food, music, and, of course, K-9 Saint and his Uber Driver, Sheriff Ivey will be there to greet everyone.
“The kids will have a blast and maybe even go home with a new family member, as there will also be some amazing dogs available for adoption,” said a BCSO spokesperson.
