Reclaimed Water Use Restriction Implemented in Response to High Demand in Cocoa Beach

Due to increased seasonal demand and limited water supply, Cocoa Beach authorities have implemented new restrictions on the use of reclaimed water effective immediately. Approved watering days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and watering is only permitted between 12 a.m. and 10 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA — Due to increased seasonal demand and limited water supply, Cocoa Beach authorities have implemented new restrictions on the use of reclaimed water effective immediately.

Residents utilizing reclaimed water for irrigation are now restricted to specific days and times to ensure a sustainable supply across the community.

Approved watering days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and watering is only permitted between 12 a.m. and 10 a.m.

These measures aim to preserve the county’s reclaimed water resources during peak usage periods.

Officials are urging residents to adhere to the schedule and closely monitor updates, as changes may occur based on supply and weather conditions.
