Two Titusville Police Officers Injured in Crash on South Hopkins Avenue While Responding to Armed Gun Call

Two Titusville Officers Hurt, One Airlifted
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA — Two Titusville Police officers were injured in a vehicle crash on South Hopkins Avenue near Acorn Avenue late Monday morning while responding to an armed gun call.
According to police, the crash occurred when the officers were en route to the call, and their patrol vehicle was involved. Both officers sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
One officer is being airlifted to a trauma center for treatment, while the other is being transported by ambulance to a Brevard hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.
Authorities are asking motorists to avoid South Hopkins Avenue between Birch Street and Pritchard Street as emergency crews remain on the scene.
