The Brevard Humane Society is gearing up for its 28th Annual Critter Run, a beloved community motorcycle ride that raises funds to support homeless animals in Brevard County. The event will take place on Sunday, November 23, beginning at the Brevard Humane Society located at 1020 Cox Road in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard Humane Society is gearing up for its 28th Annual Critter Run, a beloved community motorcycle ride that raises funds to support homeless animals in Brevard County.

The event will take place on Sunday, November 23, beginning at the Brevard Humane Society located at 1020 Cox Road in Cocoa.

Participants can join the ride for $10 per hand in this poker-style run, with opportunities to win cash prizes for the best hand, worst hand, and mystery hand. Riders who bring a pet food or supply donation will receive a free card at the end of the run.

The first bike will depart at 10 a.m., and the last bike will leave at 11:30 a.m. The ride will conclude at H&D Roadhouse at 1811 East Merritt Island Causeway, with the last bike expected in by 4 p.m.

In addition to the ride, attendees can enjoy a live band, food, a silent auction, and a 50/50 giveaway. A large sale featuring leather goods and biker gear will also take place, offering participants a chance to shop while supporting the cause.

The 2025 Palm Bay Fair promises a blast with up to 20 state fair rides, games, delicious fair foods, a haunted petting zoo, stilt walkers, a foam party, hay rides, two haunted houses, and a Halloween parade. Spooky and friendly characters will roam around the Palm Bay Fair for great photo ops and fun.

FREE SHOWS INSIDE THE PALM BAY FAIR:

The Palm Bay Fair offers unlimited rides, or you can purchase individual ride tickets.

Unlimited ride armbands are $25, Monday through Thursday, or $30 per person on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Individual ride tickets are available at ticket booths inside the Fair:

■ 5 ride tickets for $7
■ 30 ride tickets for $35
■ 50 ride tickets for $50

Each ride takes 2-5 tickets, depending on the ride. Riding a lot? Buy the unlimited ride armband for $25 (Mondays-Thursdays) or $30 (Fridays-Sundays) and ride all the rides from open until close.

FEED THE ANIMALS: Angela’s Petting Zoo will be open every day of the fair, featuring a menagerie of beautiful, friendly farm animals, including baby pigs, baby goats, sheep, baby lambs, an African camel, bunny rabbits, chickens, hens, and much more. Pony rides will also be available.

Spooky and friendly stilt walkers, accompanied by Diana Dorothy, will roam the Palm Bay Fair for great photo opportunities and fun. There will be a Foam Party every day and night inside the fair, where children of all ages may play and dance to the music and the fun foam floating everywhere.

Children under 36 inches tall, Seniors over 65, and U.S. veterans receive free admission. All others pay $7 per person for all-day admission.

The Haunted Parade will take place on October 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the Oddity Market will be on the last day of the fair, Sunday, October 26.

Orders are now open for the all-inclusive Thanksgiving package, which feeds six to eight people and includes a full selection of smoked holiday favorites prepared in true Cryderman’s style.

This year’s package features smoked turkey breast, cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, green beans, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls, along with a choice of pie for dessert.

For those who prefer to customize their meal, all traditional meats and sides are also available à la carte. Customers can order just their favorite items, from Cryderman’s signature smoked meats to homestyle side dishes.

Guests are invited to stop by 3850 N. Atlantic Avenue anytime during the week to join the fun.

The festivities include themed events such as Let’s Make A Bingo on Tuesday and Trivia Night on Thursday, culminating in a weekend of costumes, contests, and prizes.

Participants can enter the Halloween Costume Contest by arriving in costume and spending $10 for an entry and photo submission.

Judging will take place on Sunday, with winners announced on Monday. Prizes include $150 in cash for first place, a $100 5 Great Things gift card for second place, and a $50 gift card for third place.
