BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Internship Program, a paid, full-time opportunity designed for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at accredited maritime academies.

The internship provides participants with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals at one of the world’s most dynamic cruise and cargo ports.

Students will learn about the Port’s critical role in global commerce, maritime logistics, and its ongoing contributions to Florida’s Space Coast economy.

“Port Canaveral’s internship program provides the next generation of maritime professionals with real-world exposure to the operations that keep international trade and tourism moving,” said a Port spokesperson.

“Our interns work directly with senior leadership and gain valuable insight into how a major seaport functions day to day.”

Interns will develop professional skills across multiple departments, engage with senior leadership, and explore career pathways within the maritime and logistics sectors.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Strong communication and research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• A self-starter mindset
• Experience with artificial intelligence tools (preferred but not required)
