With temperatures expected to dip to near-freezing levels Wednesday night, LifePointe Ministries in Titusville will open its doors as a cold weather shelter to provide warmth and safety for those in need.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With temperatures expected to dip to near-freezing levels Wednesday night, LifePointe Ministries in Titusville will open its doors as a cold weather shelter to provide warmth and safety for those in need.

Brevard County Emergency Management announced the activation as part of its cold weather response plan.

The shelter offers a safe overnight stay for individuals and families without adequate heating or shelter during cold conditions.

Residents seeking assistance or information about transportation to the shelter can call 2-1-1 Brevard. Officials are also encouraging the public to check on elderly neighbors, bring pets indoors, and take extra precautions to stay warm.
