BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Central Viera Community Association is inviting families to join in a spine-tingling adventure with the return of its annual Spooky Hide and Shriek event, a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt running from October 17 to November 2.
Participants will explore parks, storefronts, and trails throughout Central Viera in search of 62 hidden Halloween characters, including ghosts, witches, and zombies.
This year’s hunt introduces an extra challenge with 20 special bonus skeleton cards that are smaller, harder to spot, and worth double raffle entries for each one found.
Families can use a provided map to locate characters. Every regular character found earns one prize entry, while bonus skeletons earn two.
The event is open to all residents of the Central Viera Community Association, with prizes including a $100 gift card for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place.
The prize drawing will take place on or around November 3, with winners announced on the association’s Facebook page and contacted by email.
Designed as a fun, family-friendly way to celebrate the Halloween season, Spooky Hide and Shriek encourages residents to explore their community, enjoy some friendly competition, and share in the excitement of the hunt.
