Space Coast Office of Tourism Collaborates with Carnival Cruise Lines to Host Largest Travel Advisor Familiarization Trip Ever

65 advisors from as far away as California visited Brevard County for four days

The Space Coast Office of Tourism, working with Carnival Cruise Line, recently hosted its largest Travel Advisor Familiarization Trip ever. “We had 65 advisors from as far away as California visit for four days,” said Peter Cranis. The advisors stayed at the Springhill Suites Cape Canaveral, TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral, and Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach. The group toured three ships at Port Canaveral, including Carnival Glory, Carnival Mardi Gras, and Carnival Vista, seeing all the different cabin types, common areas, and meeting spaces.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Office of Tourism, working with Carnival Cruise Line, recently hosted their largest Travel Advisor Familiarization Trip ever.

“We had 65 advisors from as far away as California visit for four days,” said Peter Cranis.

The advisors stayed at the Springhill Suites Cape Canaveral, TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral, and Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach.

The group toured three ships at Port Canaveral, including Carnival Glory, Carnival Mardi Gras, and Carnival Vista, seeing all the different cabin types, common areas, and meeting spaces.

They also enjoyed visiting Brevard Zoo and Historic Cocoa Village.

“We held a trade show at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, allowing advisors to meet with 23 local companies representing our hotels, restaurants, transportation, and service providers,” said Cranis.

Many advisors commented on how much they learned about the destination, noting that the Fam will be beneficial when sending future clients to the Space Coast.
